Lauri Ann Schmid, Attorney
Attorney Lauri Schmid is a graduate of Concordia College (Bachelor of Arts in General Business) and Hamline University School of Law, both of St. Paul.
Lauri Schmid has been involved in the legal industry since 1986, when she began her career as an office manager/receptionist with the firm of Lindstrom, Watje, Mollerus & Wawro. In 1987, she took on the role of legal assistant. She continued to work with one of the partners, Michael Mollerus, through 1997.
In 1997, she earned her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. She began work as an attorney with the firm of Mollerus & Haug. At that time, her name was Lauri Haug, and she became a firm partner in November of 1997 and continued as a full partner until June of 2003. In July of 2003, Lauri capitalized on her experience and expertise and started her own firm, L.A. Haug & Associates. In July 2008, she changed her last name to Schmid and began the law firm of Schmid & O'Brien.
In 2010, Lauri formed the new Schmid Law Firm, LTD in order to offer a singular level of service and commitment to her clients.
Lauri keeps her legal knowledge current by attending seminars that cover the latest changes and trends in the laws. She is also actively involved with Burnsville and Savage Chambers of Commerce, Savage Rotary and other business organizations.
Lauri currently resides in Savage, Minnesota, with her husband, Mike, and children, Cassi, Kenneth and Kristi. Her hobbies and areas of interest include travel, reading, sports and riding motorcycles.
